So, we left off when I showed you some lovely details, and now it’s time to really kick off our wedding day!
I started the day with my bridesmaids waking me up early in the morning. Since we all spent the night at the ranch, we took turns using the four showers. I was one of the last to shower, because everyone insisted that I should get more sleep, and I’m so glad they let me sleep in!
I started putting on my makeup. My SIL was in charge of my hair (and all of the bridesmaids’ hair, too).
Since my hair took the most work (I have SO MUCH hair and it was pretty long), SIL Kristin had the help of my dear friend Katy, and both of them curled my massive amounts of hair.
I decided not to have a makeup or hair trial, because I always change my mind. I had some ideas for my look that we discussed while they were curling my hair.

Momma Poodle was so happy, and of course I could have not have been more happy that she got to come share the day with us, after all of our Visa struggles.
I finally went for a very soft, smoky eyeshadow.
And Momma Poodle approved the curls!
My SIL strategically planned to do the girls’ hair early before I was ready, because we all agreed my hair was going to take a long time just to curl.

We all had so much fun while getting ready. I think it was just what I needed, because it calmed my nerves.
After they finished my hair, I fixed my Mom’s hair.
Lily, our flower girl, wasn’t liking the big flower I had attached to her dress, so we had to remove it. After we took it off, she was happy again.
Poor Lily!
We all had a girl moment and got ready to get dressed!
BM Katy was giving her makeup some last minute touches.
And I jumped into to my dress:
As you can see, I was pretty excited.

I attached my sash:
And of course, I had to have a poodle somewhere!

So excited!

By that time, Lily was all excited as well!

All ready!

If you remember, at my bridal shower we had a very special moment where Mr. Poodle’s Aunt Margaret gave me the ring that her grandmother wore at her wedding. Ever since, every bride in the family has had a chance to wear it somehow, and I decided to attach it to my bouquet.
It was such a fun morning getting ready with my friends and family. We relaxed, joke around, and enjoyed every single moment.
