I love to sing and dance, despite the fact that I lack any talent doing either. I somehow manage to be messy and organized at the same time. I like to spend my days road tripping, watching '80s movies, reading true crime books, buying things on sale, sending postcards, playing board games, dining at food trucks, snuggling, and drinking ginger ale. I have a weak spot for all things sweet, especially Mr. Cheetah! I’m a Chicago girl and he’s a Nor Cal boy but we love living in the City of Angels. After 10 years as a couple we are planning a fun-filled semi-destination wedding in Palm Springs. Hope you enjoy the ride!

Pretty Little Things

If your tastes in engagement rings and/or wedding bands tends to lean toward the less traditional, I have a few online window shopping finds to share with you.

These rings by Todd Reed are made with rose-cut and raw natural diamonds:

I love designer Zoë Chicco and this ring is quite appropriate for tying the knot, don’t you think? It’s also available in other metals:

I found this adorable ring at Jennifer Kaufman. Bonus: it also comes in silver:

I’ve been eyeing this one by Etsy seller Cherry Creek forever, but do I get my initials or Mr. Cheetah’s? Maybe I should just play it safe and get both: ;)

This statement piece is from Etsy seller Tooli’s Jewelry:

I’m a sucker for anything with roses on it. Love this ring from Wexford Jeweler’s Etsy shop:

Or stray even further from the traditional and opt for a engagement/wedding necklace, bracelet, or earrings:

This necklace from Max & Chole could also be a great bridesmaid’s gift:

I adore this vintage diamond bracelet from Lang Antique & Estate Jewelry:

Emerald and diamond earrings from Blue Nile:

My engagement ring is a cubed raw diamond! Love love love it. It’s in a really modern octagonal band setting. Wouldn’t trade it for anything :-)

I browse Lang Antiques and Estates at least once a week! My personal tastes would have been to choose an e-ring that was vintage or unusual (I wanted it set in yellow or rose gold) but Mr TM was adamant that I not be involved in choosing my ring, so I got a beautiful but not unique white gold ring!

I love the one with the roses. I am going a traditional route, however my FI wants a wooden band, made from Koa. It’s really really awesome too!

Definitely lean toward the less traditional. I was trying on right hand rings as bands!
