In honor of the Marine Corps birthday yesterday, I wanted to share this small detail that I gifted Mr. B for our wedding!

I gave these to him on Valentine’s Day this year, in preparation and celebration of our wedding. He served in the Marine Corps for 4 years and I thought this small touch would be a nice way to honor such an important part of his life on our wedding day.

In hindsight, I should have waited until our wedding day; the cufflinks made it to Napa, but were packed safely in his suitcase back at our hotel. The same Valentine’s Day, he gifted me both the necklace and bracelet I wore on our wedding day. If only we would have remembered to grab the cufflinks…oh well…

That’s so sweet! We’re having a military wedding, so I guess that counts! I’m also working on a way to honor the guys that won’t be able to make it bc of deployments.
