One of the very first things I read about on Weddingbee was first looks, and I was sold right away!
We both wanted to have a fist look, mostly because we wanted to use our photographer’s time in the best possible way, and having most of our bride and groom pictures before the ceremony would give us time for all the other pictures we wanted after the ceremony. Looking back, I think it was one of the best decisions we had made. We had tons of fun, and we got to enjoy each other in such an intimate way. And at the ceremony, we were both so much more relaxed. 
Even though we discussed it with Adi, our photographer, we didn’t really know what we wanted or where we wanted it to happen, so we pretty much left everything up to the photogs.
I am so glad we did. He placed Mr. P on one side of the caboose, that way I could walk from the house to the back and and then to Mr. Poodle. The fun part was that even though we couldn’t really see anyone, our families and wedding party saw everything from the main house!

I love how in most of our wedding pictures you can’t really tell how windy and cold it was. I think our photographers were awesome!
Even though most of the pictures are focused on me, I always remember the huge smile on Mr. Poodle’s face. It was one of those moments that always make me smile.
It kind of gave me goose bumps all over!
After the first look, most of Mr. Poodle’s comments were about my dress, hair, and how he loved the fact that I added color with a sash. After all, it was the very first time he saw my work (and his sister’s work on my hair) all together.
Because we took most of the pictures before the ceremony, we ended up with LOADS of amazing images, that of course, I will share with all of you! I never thought that after the ceremony everything was going to happen so fast.

Your first look pictures are amazing! You can tell how happy both of you are! I’m going to use this post to try to convince my fiance we need to go this route…he wants to wait to see me at the ceremony. I’m voting for first look and so far losing!

I love how Mr. Poodle looks almost giddy with happiness/excitement in all the photos of him. He just looks like he’s been having the time of his life that whole day.

These are soooooo sweet and gorgeous. I don’t know how many times I’m going to use the word “gorgeous” to describe your wedding but I sure hope you don’t get sick of it!
