One Blinged Out Cake Topper

I just finished up a DIY project, and I can’t wait to share. Just as a refresher, I bought a custom cake topper on Etsy using our wedding logo, and my plan was to bedazzle the crap out of it. Which I did. And it’s pretty freakin’ awesome…in my opinion. Wanna see?

My picture totally doesn’t do it justice, ’cause in real life those Swarovski crystals sparkle like you wouldn’t believe. I ended up using two colors of blue crystals (dark indigo and cobalt) and two colors of yellow crystals (citrine and light topaz) from in various sizes. You can really tell that there are two different colors in the picture (particularly in the blue), but in real life it’s much more subtle and just gives the topper a little bit of dimension. Sweet!

What DIY projects are you blinging out?

Good call to use two-tone for your colors. It adds so much more depth & dimension!

Looks Amazaing! I found a site that sells $25 monogram cake toppers in any size. These topper can be bejeweled as well. They have really great fonts. Take a look
