You know how good it feels when you cross a big item of your wedding to-do list? I got that sweet feeling today when we ordered the bridesmaid dresses for the Cheetah Girls! We went with Priscilla of Boston dresses in crinkle chiffon from Bella Bridesmaid (with a nice 10% discount for our large order).

Two ladies will be ordering the first dress, the second dress is the most popular as four Cheetah Girls will be wearing it, MOH Sister Cheetah will be in the third dress (that drape-y part is actually a strap that goes over one shoulder), and finally, one woman will be in the last number.

The long dresses will be shortened to knee length and all the dresses will be in the pewter color below.

Here is a dress in the pewter color with our palette

We decided to go with the pewter over the pink (thanks for your help with that, hive!), for two reasons: 1) pink shoes, and 2) pink bouquets. I love the idea of having pink shoes and flowers really pop against the grey dresses, and inspirations photos like these below are all I need to convince me.

It wouldn’t be right for me to write a post about bridesmaid dresses without some glorious photos, so feast your eyes on these beauties:

I’m debating whether I like the neon blue and green or the pink Scarlet O’Hara monstrosity better!

Oohh..I likey! I chose the different cuts for my girls as well.. rather them me comfortable and NOT trash the dress after the night has ended. Initially I chose the “apple” color from David’s Bridal. However my MOH will wear black because her skin tone does not work well with red. I think it will work out since my colors are apple, ivory and black.

My MOH will wear dark teal. The other person standing on my side will be my brother, so he’ll be in a tux like the other boys.

He he, I copied the second picture into an email and sent it to on of my BMs telling her how much I loved it and that I wanted this dress for all fo them. I can’t wait for her reaction.

we have the same bridesmaids dresses!!!! well, all my girls are in the 2nd one, in pewter grey! we’re doing purple / blue bouquets and the girls are wearing jewel toned shoes!

*blinkblinkblink* Wow, that last photo is something else. :>

Mine will be all in blue, but each in a different shade of blue. One’s already claimed navy, another teal, and another cornflower. The fourth hasn’t looked yet (there’s no rush, though). Since the colors don’t have to match, they can get their dresses wherever they find them and they don’t have to be the same manufacturer/fabric. It’ll be very mismatchy.
