Get ready for some Hottie overload. After our first look, our Hotties were summoned over to begin their portraits.
Thank goodness for these beautiful hand-painted parasols. I bought five of them used from another bride and got an additional four of them from Siamese Dream. They provided the much-needed shade in the intense sunlight.
You can see how well the parasols worked at shading us.
Our photog, Hanssie, told us to get all America’s Next Top Model. Sadly, this is all I could muster up. So odd, given all those posts I had written about posing for pictures in my “So You Want to be a Model” series. At least I remembered to make one triangle—or maybe I was just trying to hold up my bouquet?
Oh look, I made two triangles this time. Go me!
A couple shots with parasols on the ground. The parasols may look pretty all lined up along our feet, but they were a complete pain to set in place and have them all facing forward.
I also got individual shots with each brideswoman.
Then a shot with my beautiful cousins.
And we close with a final shot with my two VIP brideswomen, my Woman of Honor and my now Sister in Law.
While the Wingmen really took to their sunglasses, the Hotties really took to their parasols. I’m totally convinced that props made our formals. Check my Prop It Up post for more prop inspiration. Are you planning to use props with your formals?
*All photos by the ever fab Hanssie Trainor unless noted otherwise.*
Do you need to catch up with the hotness?
