Braids, plaits, whatever you call them—I like them. And I especially like how they are popping up in wedding hairstyles these days. Yes, I already have my hairstyle sorted, but what about the bridesmaids? The other day a very talented friend offered to do their hair and makeup (for free!), and so of course I went on the prowl for braid inspiration.

I love the number of different variations on the braid “theme” that can be achieved; it means that my BMs can each pick a different style that they like while still looking cohesive.
How do you feel about braids incorporated into wedding hairstyles?
I LOVE the braids, and that Jessica Alba style is seriously killer. Oh, how I wish my hair would cooperate!!
So romantic! I definitely plan of having a little french braid headband-type thing going on on my wedding day.
I’ve known I wanted braids as part of my hairstyle for a while now, still not sure if I’m doing an updo or down, but these are great inspiration!
I love love LOVE the second picture in this post, that texture and style totally looks how my hair normally falls, if I were doing a beachy theme I would totally opt for that hair do. Don’t think it will match with my dress though :/
