…using spray paint! Until a few days ago, I had never touched a can of spray paint, and quite frankly, I was scared to try it out. I don’t know why, but spray painting seemed very intimidating, and I was really nervous to try it out.
But, I had a project that needed spray paint, so I had to suck it up and get over the nerves! And guess what? That project has easily become my absolute favorite DIY project for the wedding so far. I don’t know why I’m so obsessed with it, but I am SO excited to share!
You see, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about props for our photo booth. I’ve loved the look of chalkboards in photo booths for a while now, and became mildly obsessed with photos like this:

(Source) Side note: I totally need to find some cute empty frames. LOVE those photos!
The only problem was that the only chalkboards I could find were either really ugly and boring or out of my (very low) price range. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on this little detail, so anything more than about $20 or so was just not going to happen.
