The processional music was nearing the crescendo where my entrance would be made. It was time to go:

As I attempted to show in my ceremony layout diagram, the tree was the starting point, so our aisle walk went from behind the tree, around the platform, and then to the top of the aisle. The walk down the aisle itself was quite short, but getting there took a bit longer. I made my way around the platform, and continued my walk down the aisle:

You can finally see the pleats of my dress, and the necklace I had made! I reached the top of the aisle, and my dad stood to greet me:

And my groom saw me for the first time that day:

You guys, I cannot even describe to you how much I adore the above photo. This was our “first look,” our perfectly-planned, but un-choreographed moment. This was the most memorable moment of the entire day for me. Looking at it now takes me right back to that day, those few precious seconds. It was amazing! And just because I am so in love with that moment, I have to show you another angle of it:

My dad escorted me down the aisle to meet my waiting groom:

As I arrived at the front of the aisle, cue ugly cry face:

And then ugly cry face turned to laughter, as I told Mr. Husky he couldn’t kiss me yet (he had that look in his eyes)!

I handed my bouquet to MOH-Husky, and stood to face my nearly-husband.
