One weekend in April, one of our closest friends offered to take some early engagement photos for us! (We ♥ you RW!!) I had no idea what to wear, or if we were going to do props. The only thing we knew for sure was that we would head down to Coney Island.

We also requested she take Polaroid pictures because I LOOOOOOVE the vintage feel of Polaroids. If you aren’t convinced, here’s why:

It ended up being super chilly that morning, so I couldn’t wear the adorable dress I had picked. But we still had so much fun! Here’s a few of Mr. Pancakes’s favorites:

Love it when photogs are able to track down Polaroid film - hard to find these days now that it isn’t made anymore! I work across the street from the old Polaroid headquarters in Cambridge, MA - makes me nostalgic to walk past it, all sad and empty!

have you tried the hipstamatic iphone app? pretty cool, with similar polaroid-ish effects

We have a lot more but these were Mr. P’s favorites so he scanned them first…hehe

@Mrs. Glasses: We have no idea what we are going to do with these… since we are renting the villa for the whole weekend weekend we are thinking of incorporating a lot of photos throughout the house… Or they would be cute clothes-pinned to some twine at the reception.
