I’d have to say that finding, buying and owning my wedding dress has pretty much solidified this whole ‘getting married’ shindig.
It all started here: online. I had inspiration a-plenty—which one would’ve hoped, since I had spent countless hours scouring the interwebs to find THE perfect little {or big} white dress that I wanted for our wedding day.
I’ve mentioned before that I already knew the kind of dress that I wanted to try on: something made of lace, something with a v-neck, and something NOT strapless. Since I’ve bought my dress now and plan on sharing the details with you, I thought I’d show you some of my absolute all-time favourite gowns that didn’t end up being “the one.” (I always feel better after I’ve cleaned out some of my inspiration bookmarks by sharing images on the ‘Bee—I’m cleaning out my insane stash of wedding stuff and maybe even providing some inspiration to other brides out there at the same time. Awesome. Yep, I’m weird, I know.)
This was my all-time favourite gown: I was so smitten with it that I made my mother {who is a similar shape to me} go into a local Australian store to try it on FOR me.

Then, there were the plainer and simpler v-neck gowns that I loved.

I loved the lace and beading on this gown, and it had an absolutely gorgeous cut-out on the back.

However this was possibly the very first gown that took my breath away: you can even see it in the inspiration board I mentioned a few days ago!
