It took us ladies 6 hours to beautify. Meanwhile, the men enjoyed a view of the Statue of Liberty from Mr. Lobster’s hotel room:
While the ladies took care to apply sunblock and extra lip gloss, the boys were partying it up:
…reading the Wall Street Journal (I kid)
…opening their groomsmen’s gifts
…making sure not to forget the rings (I honestly was so reluctant to let Mr. Lobster take these for he has a reputation for losing things)
…and eating mini-burgers and drinking Coronas? Wait, are those pigs in a blanket I see?!?
Eventually, the guys dressed themselves up.
Mr. Lobster had his own accessories.
and a little help with his suspenders.

They also cheers’ed:
And were ready to go. What a handsome bunch. Mr. Lobster had representatives from all parts of his life from childhood, high school, college, and grad school.
Little did Mr. Lobster know, I was running a bit behind.
If you missed part of this lobster tale…
