If you hadn’t guessed yet, here are a few photos with clues from our second anniversary shoot by the fabulous and super-talented Steve Koo AKA Mr. Stiletto (who was nice enough to squeeze us in for a shoot while visiting New York last month).

After 10 years together, Mr. Canary and I are embarking on our greatest adventure yet… a BABY! We are due February 2011 and are just off the wall excited about our upcoming arrival.

We’re already learned so much about ourselves and each other in just 2.5 years of marriage—and it’s just the tip of the iceberg. As we 2010 draws to a close, we are readying ourselves for a move to our “forever” house as we put our first home on the market. We are preparing ourselves for our new addition by reading as much as we can on newborn care and doing as much fervent research on baby items as we did for our wedding. It’s been a whirlwind and we wouldn’t do it any other way. Through all the ups and downs, we’ve learned that we really make a great team—even on our worst days. No matter what, Mr. Canary always has my back and is always the best sounding board for any of my concerns. I count myself as lucky to be married to someone I admire so much and who will also be my partner in raising our child. I couldn’t ask for more.

As my time on Weddingbee draws to a close, I wish all of you the very best on your journeys. I felt so lucky when I was planning our wedding eons ago to stumble upon Weddingbee and share things beyond invitation inspiration and dress swatches, but discover a true community of friends who genuinely wanted to help and listen whether wedding-related or not. I’ve made so many friends who are truly a part of my life and add to my happiness. That’s the power of the ‘Bee and why I still pop in every day despite being married and moving onto mommy-hood…that will never change!

Thank you again for having me and sharing more than just weddings, but friendship and support.
