“I do have a venue,” said the bride-to-be. “I know I do. I have to find it. I will. I WILL!”
“There she is!” she said. “There is my venue!” She ran up to it.
Hello, lovely: The Royal Park Hotel in Rochester, Michigan. This venue had all the pros of the previous venues we considered. English-manor-style architecture? Check.
Floor-to-ceiling windows for amazing photo ops? Check.
An insanely beautiful indoor location complete with handcrafted Murano chandeliers? Check.
Fabulous grounds? Checkity-check.
Mouth-watering, delectable, sweet-Jesus-Mary-and-Joseph-I-can’t-stop-eating food?
You can have a tea party catered to your bridal suite. Win.
Dessert table. Nom om om.
Oh yes…real food…that’s good, too!
Best of all, it was within our budget. The Royal Park Hotel was the first and only venue we visited in person. While we had other places on our “to see” list, each had a distinct prohibitive factor, whether it was cost or inclement weather. Neither of these were an issue with the RPH, and we fell in love the moment we walked into the lobby. It was an absolute dream. The architecture and overall design of the property was elegant, and it had the warm, intimate quality that we wanted for our wedding day.
How many venues did you consider before finding “the one?”
