Wedding Day Duds

Show Me the Hoodie!

Ahhhh, me and J. Simps have a bit of a love/hate relationship. I hate how she slaps her name on everything and pretends to be a designer, I love her hair extensions, body image, and her Soon-to-be Mrs. Lachey hoodie. WHY CAN’T I FIND A DANG PICTURE OF IT?! I’ve had a little love affair with that track suit since the Newlyweds episode aired (I-Don’t-Care-To-Mention-How-Many-Years-Ago). Don’t pretend like you don’t remember it! You KNOW you had a velour tracksuit. It’s okay, I had a few… it’ll all be okay. Anywho, I severely wanted one of those hoodies.

Oh the Horror!

Yes…even after Britney’s face palm of an epic fail at her wedding.

Sexy Little One Time Wear

And then there is the holy grail of bridal hoodies—The Victoria’s Secret Sexy Little Bride Hoodie. Here’s the deal though…I can only wear that once. That sweet but very expensive piece of clothing will be rendered useless once I slip my gown on. I could go through the hassle of reselling it but I never sell my clothes. I’d hold onto it for sentimental purposes and in the end it would be money wasted.

So every day I stalked Gilt Group in search of something…and then one day I found it.

Boy Meets Girl, She Gets Her Hair Did, They Get Married

The sweetest little hoodie ever to grace the face of this planet. It was perfect! I went to buy it on Gilt but realized it was a Children’s sale…Whoops! So I trolled and trolled and was hoping to buy it from the designer directly but in the end, wound up making my first ever eBay purchase. It was as painless and easy as can be. I’m very excited and chomping at the bit to finally wear it. I normally cannot hold off very long on wearing new clothes but I want the big day to be its debut. Must. Not. Wear! The best part, however, is that I can wear it many, many times afterward. That’s money well spent!

Will you be wearing anything special to get ready on your wedding day?

For my sisters wedding I went to Old Navy and got a white zip up light weight track hoodie and then took it to an embroidery place and had them add “Soon to be Mrs….” with her new last name on it to the back (in the bridal colors of course! :) she wore it while getting her hair and make up done and it was an easy on and off type clothing :) she loved it and it wasn’t expensive.

I think this is absolutely adorable! I wish they sold a zipper-front hoodie with this design on the back!

I probably wouldn’t ever wear it again, but I’m ok with that! :)

I looked all over the damn place for cute sweats and bride gear that I could wear around the house the day of the wedding, but ultimately ended up at VS where I just couldn’t justify the price. That hoodie is sooooo cute!

My MOH got me a track suit and embroidered “Mrs. Frantom” on the back and then had a ribbon embroidered pinned on with “The Future” so I wore it on my wedding day. Later I removed the ribbon with “The Future” and wore my “Mrs. Frantom” hoodie on our honeymoon and days since.

That’s so cute! If one was so inclined, one could probably make freezer paper stencils and make the bride and groom. I don’t need more projects, so can someone else please do it? I think it’d be awesome!

It’s a bit addictive, be warned. They have tons of styles of clothes/items. They have thousands of pre-done images that they silk screen onto items. You can also upload your own image. They are super quick and the quality is great. The items are many different brand names, so you sort of already know what the items is going to be like (hanes, american apparel, etc). The best part is there is no minimum for the order.

My sister’s wedding is coming and I am really happy that I am also a bride to be for my own wedding ceremony will be held on the first week of April. Since we are all happy and exciting about the marriage our mother order the dressess for us on the Internet.

She said she looked over and over for some companies and then she choose one of them to inquireing some basic questions about the dress. She called it and received the answers she want and told us she really appreciate the talking with the customer sercvise and the dress is replica not the original, then we received some real dresses pictures they made before and they are looks great.

Then we ordered the dress on line and finished our payment. after that the customer servise sent us email to let us confirm our order infomation and remind me that we missing the color information for the sash.

Thanks her reminding and patience!!
several days later we received the dress, it’s beautiful. we really want to them become our dress partener.
