After the rehearsal dinner it was time to unwind. It sounds crazy, but although the day was amazing and exciting, being on a constant life-high is exhausting. Making sure everyone is where they’re supposed to be, making sure you’re catering to everyone’s needs, despite everyone telling you to not worry so much, is just part of being a bride.

Cinnamon Buns and I sat down one night and went through the invitation section on Etsy. Now I bet we didn’t see all of it, but we browsed a good portion of it, and I’d been favouriting stuff left, right, and centre. When we sat down that night, we decided that we should order some samples, so we narrowed it down to our mutual favourites. We both had to like the design, or we wouldn’t bother ordering it. We ended up both liking:

So it all started when Mr. Lox and I decided to move in together. There was some hemming and hawing. There was some ironing out of details. And there was some talk about what it all meant. I may be an enlightened modern woman, but I’m not going to just shack up with a man forever and be content. So while I wasn’t pushing for diamonds and promises immediately, the move was made with the understanding that neither was actually far off.
And so we picked out the apartment of our dreams and moved. In the middle of a snowstorm. Well, not everything can be perfect, now can it?

There, I said it. It’s out there in the open for all to see. You see, hive, this is a “touchy” subject (pun intended!) and I’ve spent quite a long time trying to figure out how to word this correctly to say what I want to say and to come across all hip and cool. My bridesmaids and I arrived at the venue around 2 PM, three hours before our ceremony start time. This would give us time to take our first look and group photos before the ceremony.
