I love, love, love wedding detail shots!
There are so many pieces to the wedding day puzzle and I love seeing those captured along with the emotions and people who are there to celebrate with the bride and groom.
We won’t have a full picture wish list to give, because I have complete trust in our amazing photographer, but there are a couple of shots that we have mentioned that we would love to get. Most of those shots are of the DIY projects we have been working on (like our passport programs, postcard guestbook, and boarding pass escort cards). A handful of particular shots with our friends and family (I can’t wait to have a picture of Mama E putting on my veil just like her mom did on my parents’ wedding day 33 years ago), and a couple of popular shots seen on wedding blogs.
I’m a sucker for one detail shot in particular: the shoe shot!
Love it!!! Mr. E was all on board with wearing a pair of blue and green socks (love him!) and even helped me find the perfect pair online.
They came in the mail the same day as our RSVP from Disneyland came. (Thanks Miss Lioness for the VIP addresses!) I can’t wait to see these socks next to my blue shoes!
Are there any particular detail shots that you are hoping to capture on your wedding day?
I would love great pics of the dessert table, along with all the details you’ve mentioned above!
@Miss Lioness: They did! And we had the same experience with Disney World as you, it came bent even though it said Do Not Bend on the front 
those argyle socks are great! where did you end up finding them?
I like the yellow one the best. That was the theme at my own wedding!

I’m a sucker for jumping pictures… not your typical blog pictures, but I love them all the same!
Did you ever notice that all the shoe shots always have the bride going pigeon toed? What is that about?? But yes, I do love the shoe shot!
I love shoe shots too. I just need to find appropriately cute shoes!
@Sunlavender: I love those too! But I doubt Mr. E and his guys will do one, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to make it far off the ground with my dress
@heather25: I didn’t even notice that until you just mentioned it! That does look weird now that I look at those pictures.
@Mrs. Glasses: Isn’t it cool? It was taken by our photographer at a theater Halloween wedding a couple of months ago.
I looove the shoe shot! It’s totally on our to-shoot list!
I am so very excited to do the viel shot wih you, as I know you will look breathtaking and it will give me a chance to recall that day my Mom helped me with my viel. Ok I’m having a moment her. love ya E.
