A thought occurred to me the other day while I was busy making up a mock to-do list for the wedding: this whole time I’ve been blogging for the Bee, I neglected to share our wedding photographers with you!
I’ll admit: finding a photographer was our TOP priority—after securing a date and a venue, that is! It was the one thing that I refused to settle for, and that I knew I would be booking super early—by the time our wedding rolls around, we’ll have had our deposit down with them for well over a year! Andrew was the first (and only!) photographer we met, and I’m confident we’re going to be blessed with great pictures. I mean, really. Look!

These pictures are actually how I discovered our Sydney-based photographers: Follan Photography. An online friend of mine (the stunning bride pictured above) recommended Andrew & his wife Sarah to me, after seeing their images online and meeting with Andrew in person, I booked them immediately. Mr. Jaguar is trusting my judgment on this one, as he hasn’t met them yet, but I know he’s pretty impressed with the pictures he’s seen so far. I love the detail they put into sharing their pictures through their blog – that was really important to me, because I’ve been a blogger myself for quite a few years now.
We paid a little extra to get both of the team for the day, which I’ll admit, makes me feel like a wee bit of a celebrity. I’m so, so excited to book our engagement session with them soon—now I just need to work on Mr. Jaguar, who REALLY dislikes having his picture taken. Hopefully we’ll get some great shots, despite the awkwardness and self consciousness that we’re already so nervous about!
