It’s a day out from our wedding day, and I finally get it: It’s not going to be perfect. But it sure is going to be awesome.

My centrepieces might not look exactly how I envisioned. There is going to be a cold southerly wind blowing, but at least it is blowing the rain away. We didn’t really think about a dance floor so we’ll be dancing on grass. My heels will probably sink in the ground. Not everything will be completely colour coordinated. We’ve run out of time to iron the doily runners so they might wrinkle a little. Some people won’t show up. I could be wrong about the weather and it might rain after all.

But it won’t matter. I won’t be thinking about those things. I will be thinking about Mr E, our commitment, the people who have come and are there for us, and that will be all it takes to put a smile on my face. So cheesy, but so true.

Thank you! It has been great sharing our planning process with you and I can’t wait to share the results with you after it is all over. The people I have “met” here are some of the most supportive and sweet people I have ever encountered. Thank you for the kind comments, the sound advice, and the thoughtful ideas. You have no idea how much they all have meant to me during this crazy time.

To Mr E: I love you. Let’s go get married.
