Newport Nuptials: Ladies Who Lunch : wedding newport pictures recap Dsc 004 These ladies all made me feel so special from the moment we got engaged all the way up to the wedding. Between these girls I was thrown a fabulous engagement party, two beautiful showers and a fun filled bachelorette weekend. I really wanted to splurge and do something special for them, too.

Newport Nuptials: Ladies Who Lunch : wedding newport pictures recap Dsc 00401 I chose to do a relaxing girls’ day the day before the wedding. We started off at lunch at one of my favorite spots in Newport, Castle Hill Inn. The restaurant usually has a beautiful view of the water and Newport Bridge, but it was pouring while we were there. It didn’t really matter though, because spending time with the girls was special enough.

Newport Nuptials: Ladies Who Lunch : wedding newport pictures recap Dsc 00402 After our meal, we headed to the nail salon for manicures. It was a relaxing way to spend the day before the wedding.

I am having my wedding at the Castle Hill Inn and my dinner in the Newport Room. Were these pictures taken in the Newport Room? I am having a hard time getting any photos since I am in Des Moines, Iowa.

@Krista: I’m not sure, I made a lunch reservation and they didn’t talk about different rooms. I know there is either that room, or the one that is more oval with water views of the Newport bridge. Do you know what shape the room is?

Lovely! I loved going out to lunch with my girlfriends around the wedding, it was really nice to take a breather and get in quality time with good friends.
