While the guests were distracted by cocktail hour, Mr. Lobster and I sneaked away for a few moments alone in the bridal suite, something I’d highly recommend if you can. Up until now, we didn’t really have any true moments alone alone. In the suite, we found this deliciousness waiting for us.
That would be a sampling of the cocktail hour fare. I quickly scarfed it down since I barely had a bite since breakfast. Nom, nom.
We did it! High fives all around!
We toasted to ourselves.
Then the girls came back to help me with my bustle.
And I said hi to a little visitor with some rainbow Skittles.
We shared one last kiss before we headed out to meet our guests
I tried to sneak in without being seen because I really wanted a bite of food.
One of the best parts about being a bride? Cutting the line at the bar.
There was a large iced raw bar, carving station, Peking duck station, and a mushroom station. It was phenomenal!
Clearly, my bridesmaids were so over it. Gold shoes, everywhere but on their feet.
As the guests were escorted upstairs to the reception, Mr. Lobster and I quickly feasted on the leftovers of cocktail hour. We were alone again in the big ballroom and it was just like a year ago when we visited the venue. Except this time, it was all there as we planned it.
If you missed part of this lobster tale…
