Woo hoo! We were married! It was time to make our way back down the aisle. As we did so, the song Love by Matt White started playing as our recessional.

It was all a blur – I was so excited…and happy…and giddy…and everything else that you’d imagine a bride to be immediately after being pronounced “husband and wife.”

Our bridal party followed afterward, and ring bearer I was sweet enough to help his sister back down the aisle…how adorable is that???

When Mr. Buttons and I reached the end of the aisle, one of our guests required a fist bump.

He also had to solicit Mommy and Daddy Buttons for one when they walked down the aisle!

Once we were in the lobby, hugs were exchanged all around.

Then, it was time to deal with my bustle before heading out to the cocktail hour! All of my lovely ladies followed me into the powder room for this fiasco. We quickly determined that the easiest way to get my bustle hooked would be for me to stand on a chair.

There were a lot of tiny hooks to fasten…

There was also a lot of strategizing going on in the powder room…it might have required a few attempts to get the bustle finished!

One of my favorite aspects of my dress was how it looked when the bustle was fastened. All of the cascading lace details looked gorgeous (I’m biased though, I know).

We did it! Now…it was time to take one last look at myself in the mirror…

…and finally, it was time to join the party!!!
