I’ve gotta say, department stores are just nailing it these days when it comes to weddings. Especially now that spring items are rolling in, I’ve been losing more time than I care to admit in an internet black hole of wedding pretties.
I feel confident that I could have outfitted our whole wedding via Nordstrom. The site is sort of addicting, since they update it almost every day. And then…well, then they had to go and send an email actually announcing an online “wedding shop.” There are all kinds of options, many of which are budget-friendly. And you can’t beat the return policy. These were the ones that caught my eye.
Simple, elegant dress for less than $500:
Traditional pumps with sassy embellishment:
Or these delicate, colored heels, which I am seriously considering…
Some sweet, spring-y bridesmaids’ dresses, just $138:
Then I keyboarded over to Lord & Taylor. I tend to forget about this department store because there are no locations in Ohio. As it turns out, they too have a whole online “wedding shop.”
The first thing that caught my eye? This one:
Detachable sheer sleeves? You’re speakin’ my language. This beauty would have earned a try-on, had I not found my dress a few months ago.
I would pair it with this one as a bridesmaids’ (or as a rehearsal dinner dress, because I’m selfish):
But I actually did order a dress for myself, to try on:
Fits all my requirements for a reception dress, and I can’t wait to see if it actually works on me! I’ll keep you updated.
Have you purchased any wedding items from online “wedding shops?”
