I woke up bright and early on Sunday morning—5AM, to be exact! My alarm was set for 5:30 AM so I used that time to relax a little. After a quick shower, our hairdresser and makeup artist arrived to beautify my mom and me! We did not have professional photographers on hand at this point, so my wonderful friends took a few pictures (after they ran out at 6 AM to get bagels and Starbucks—yes, they literally are the best ever).
First, I had my hair set in rollers while I had my makeup done.
I guess I was a little frightening!
Meanwhile, my mom had her makeup done.
Just a note here: I did not have a makeup trial—my mom did. We have similar coloring (as you can see), and she went to several people since I did not have time. Ilise Harris did our makeup and even she couldn’t believe that I was just trusting her that morning! But you know what, she did an awesome job (in my opinion 
).
Then it was time for the final touches on my hair.
The finishing touch…and I’m done!
I snuck away for a moment alone, and the chance to sign off for the last time as a Miss…
These two beautiful ladies have been my closest friends for forever, we have known each other since kindergarten. It was so amazing having them with me the night before the wedding! And M - what would I have done without you?
Just about ready to get going…
And we’re off!

In just 15 short minutes, we would arrive at the NY Botanical Garden and the craziness would really begin!
Hermit Crab wedding tip #3: Enjoy your morning! Even though it was early, we laughed, we enjoyed my favorite local breakfast and we giggled over just about everything. Try to leave more time than you think you might actually need so you can enjoy everything, stress-free!
