For this foreign topic, I’ve put my trust in the red carpet experts…aka the MacGyvers of fashion!

Smooth Operator : wedding hawaii undergarments 2011 1 1 2011-1-

If there’s one thing I don’t want, it’s an outline of my under stuff.

So for our special day, I’ve enlisted the expertise of Commando—the seamless, super light, feels like you’re going *cough* commando underwear—to keep everything out of sight. They are a playful brand, offer a zillion colors, patterns, styles and have such cute packaging!

I’ve opted for the “birthday suit light nude” thong so it’ll blend in with my olive complexion. I can’t wait to see how it fits!

But this bride has to have a backup, in case the Commando doesn’t work out. And I couldn’t feel better about my fabulous #2—The Smooth Thong by Victoria’s Secret. I have a small army of these girls and they’ve done their magic every time—no lines!

I’ve never heard of these before, but may need to try them out! I too went on a long hunt for hidden underthings. The problem I ran into was that everything was either functional or cute - never both!

I stopped wearing thongs because I hated the feeling of the constricting, well, you know… I wonder if these are good for that?

I’ll have to try those out!!! I usually swear by the smooth moves girl short (not a short at all despite the name) by Lululemon–zero panty lines all the time and they’re not a thong which is great!

Honestly, I haven’t thought much about wedding day underpants. I know I’m going to have to find a good strapless bra, but with the skirt on my dress…. I could be wearing bloomers and no one would ever know! I can see wearing those undies if I had a slinkier dress though. Although I don’t know if even that would get me in to a thong…

I wear Hanky Pankies and I freaking love them. No panty lines, no squishing or squeezing, and they’re surprisingly comfortable. They also come in adorable packaging. I got some in wedding colors for my bridesmaids and I’m super psyched.

I’m all about boy shorts. I love Victorias Secret Pink line the best. They stay in place and are wedgie free under a dress. The only downside it they aren’t seamless but I don’t think seams will be a problem with my poofy dress.
