We kicked my paparazzi out of the room so I could finally get dressed.

Friend M and I struggled a little to get the dress off the hanger

I love this picture because you can see her zip me up in the mirror behind us!

And yes, there was copious amounts of boob-grab going on—someone had to hold that baby up until it was zipped!

My mom seeing me as a bride for the first time!

My bubbe (grandmother) as she arrives! I love her expression as she saw me for the first time!

The next reveal was very important to me. Just as I finished getting ready, my dad arrived. It was very important to me that we have a moment alone at this point because I was his baby for 19 years (my little sister is 6), so I knew this was going to be an emotional moment for both of us. And boy, was it.

I am so happy that I had this moment with my dad—I knew it was important to him and I was so happy to have a moment of calm with him before all the craziness really began!

Thank you guys - your comments always warm my heart so much and I feel so lucky to be able to share these moments with you!!
@Melissa: I hope you check back here because I didn’t know how to get in touch with you otherwise - we stayed at the Rixos Libertas Dubrovnik and it was AMAZING - about a 10 minute walk to the main Old City area, but has a pool and right on the water - wouldn’t have changed the location for anything!

Thank you!! We’re so excited. We’re flying into Split and staying in Trogir, Hvar, Dubrovnik and then traipsing up to Mostar, Bosnia for a night before back to Split and heading home. Reading your recaps got me even more excited. Yay!

Love that you wore your glasses! I am on the fence about wearing mine because something in me says they will make my dress etc seem more casual but another part of me says they are me and I just need to accept them. I wear them every day of my life now so why should my wedding day be any different??? You looked fabulous!
