Where is this island paradise, you ask?

The Turks and Caicos Islands. Just 3 hours (and a direct flight) from New York City, Turks & Caicos is actually made up of 40 different islands, but only 8 of them are inhabited.

Not only is Turks & Caicos world-renowned as a diving destination, but those amazing photos are taken right from our resort. Resort! We’re going to a resort! I’m so excited. Let’s take another look:

Turks and Caicos is pretty much the only place in the Carribbean that I haven’t been yet that I’m dying to go…Have an awesome time!!

Seven Stars is AMAZING! You are going to love it. My husband and I went there a couple of years ago and I think it seriously spoiled us for all other resorts.

@Miss Hippo: It’s so beautiful there! And the resort has made some changes since we were there, so I imagine it’s even better. With all this snow/sleet/ick, I want to be there right now!

You’ll love diving in Turks! I suggest you book at least one dive trip out to French Cay and one to West Caicos. The diving in both places is better than what’s right around Provo. You won’t be disappointed!

I just got back from TCI a month ago and it was beautiful! The most amazing beach I have ever seen! The diving is great too! Make sure to go to Da Conch Shack and Jimmy’s Dive Bar (best happy hour prices for booze)! Have fun!

Those pictures made me stop and take a look. Perhaps the snow falling outside my window has something to do with it….

My fiancee and I can’t decide on a honeymoon destination. We are getting married in August, and want to go on s honeymoon someplace warm. We have been looking at the Riviera Maya )Mexico) but maybe I need to take a look at Turks and Caicos!

Anyone go to Riviera Maya and have some feedback?
