About Mrs. Hermit Crab

About two weeks before the wedding, I received three very exciting packages.

L'Chaim is for Lovers: Something Borrowed, Something Bee! : wedding nyc pictures pro pics recap Hermitc

(personal photo)

This was the most adorable wrapping paper!

Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the others as they arrived, but they were all equally as exciting and sweet. They were my somethings borrowed from three amazing bees!

Inside the Hermit Crab wrapping paper was this gorgeous brooch from Mrs. Quiche - 5 points for anyone who can list the complete lineage of the weddings that this brooch has now been to!

I don’t have a picture of it in action at the wedding, but I wanted to make sure you saw it.

And last, but definitely not least, this gorgeous bracelet from Mrs. Fro Yo! It matched the design of ring perfectly and I got compliments on it all night long.

I loved having these three “somethings borrowed” with me at my wedding—it connected me to the community here at the ‘Bee and all the wonderful bloggers and hive members who make blogging so much fun! They were little reminders of the ’Bee all day.

Hermit Crab wedding tip #6:

Make your something borrowed something meaningful. I didn’t even plan to have the “old, new, borrowed and blue” but there is a reason this tradition has persisted for so long, and it was such a meaningful detail that made the wedding day just that much more special!

Hm, I know myself, Perfume and Quiche used it, but I’m pretty sure I’m forgetting someone else after me.

That wrapping paper is too cute.

I’ve had a lot of fun sharing my wedding day items to be other ladies’ somethings borrowed!

@bunnylovesbear: I definitely remember because it is THE color that I always wear! It is Essie “Final Answer” and it is my favorite! (usually with sparkles on top)
