I don’t have too much to say in this post, other than I loved all the little details that helped make me a bride. Well, almost all of them. I absolutely hated my shoes. They were totally not me and they were painful. I forgot to have my back ups for my photographer, which I ended up wearing for about 99% of the day. They were flats and they were amazing, if only for the simple fact that I could walk in them.
My favorite accessory was the engagement ring. It still makes me happy that I am the second Starfish woman to rock the diamond.
Here is the rest of the wedding day jewels. You can also see the pearl necklace Mr. Starfish gave to me on our wedding day. It’s the silver strand with pearls spaced out.
Then of course, there is the dress:
The lace detailing made me fall in love with it, but the bow made it perfect for our semi-preppy Newport wedding.

I love all the details from your wedding. I am ADDICTED to starfish but unfortunately cannot have a beach wedding because a lot of the attendants will be much older and I really want them to be at my wedding and the closest beach to me is a 6 hour drive… : ( did you have a star fish themed wedding away from the beach? If so please message me about how you incorporated it!
You can never go wrong with a picture of a Tiffany Blue bag. Swoon.

@Chiotilidieo: I’m not sure how to message you, but our wedding wasn’t on the beach, but our reception venue overlooked the water. I have posts coming up showing more of the details of how we used starfish.

@Mrs. Starfish: I really wanted a beach wedding at the Outer Banks, but decided on a hometown wedding instead. It’s still overlooking the sound, but I had this picture of starfish and seashells throughout the wedding. Now I’m leaning towards just using starfish in a few places and concentrating on the soundside aspect–driftwood, etc.
But I love that starfish!!! And the color is sooo amazing I need to go on the hunt b/c I think that it would be such a pretty necklace!!!!
