Creative Solutions for RSVP Stalking : wedding hawaii rsvp Wedding011 wedding01

I’m officially on the hunt for the last of our RSVP cards.

All in all, Mr. O and I are super impressed with the response rate of our fam and friends. Look at how they did!

Yes! I’ve waited 10 years for this = 74%

No, I’d love to but I can’t make it = 6%

***“Bueller? Bueller? Anyone? Anyone?*** = 20%

And being one of those guests that ends up sending a text to the bride confirming our attendance and meal preferences, I’ve vowed to be extra laid back when it comes to tracking those 8 straggling couples. But, I thought it’d be fun to make a cute little note to send to our friends to nudge them towards the mailbox. :)

So here it is, our little, fun RSVP stalker note. Lots of happy colors, pretty pictures and a “you know you want to come!” playful vibe through and through. It was fun to make in Photoshop: copy + paste + text box = repeat. We’ll attach it to an email since our friends are so electronically savvy and will hope that the rest of these cards will float on through in the next week or two. *crossing fingers*

Bees, what tactics did you use to get your guests to RSVP? I’d love to hear your tips!

So cute, Ostrich! And that’s not a bad RSVP rate at all!

you are WAY nicer than me. today is the final due date and we are waiting on 14% of our rsvps… i have a lovely email all ready to go, quoting homer simpson and reminding people that they can’t just show up (what? it’s RUDE to not rsvp!)

This is really cute–I love the idea. I hope it works for you.

But I see nothing wrong with NOT being all that laid back when it comes to chasing these people down. Don’t feel bad for contacting them by text/phone/email/showing up at their house if they still don’t respond. It’s RUDE to not respond to an RSVP—you have to pay for them if they don’t show up!

@kjwinter: i love the idea of using a homer simpson quote - amazing! best of luck to you…84% is a great response rate!

@espressoandwine: thanks, girlie. and i totally hear you about putting on the full court press - we’re considering this “phase 1″ in rsvp stalking. phase 2? finding yours truly on your doorstep ;)

I like your version MUCH, MUCH more than my version which involved badgering people on Facebook and text and going “WHAT is your problem!??! Don’t you know it’s rude not to respond to an RSVP?” Hahaha. Your way is cute and fun!
