Oh, you guys! I had the best present come in my Google Reader. More photos from the IslandWood wedding!!! Every time I see pictures of our venue I get more and more excited about everything. And yes, there is 100% more sunlight in all of these photos, but that’s OK! Why? Because our February winter wedding is going to be fabulous no matter what the weather (uh, as long as there isn’t five feet—or five inches—of snow the day before).
But look! They got photos in one of the tree houses I showed you. And on the suspension bridge! IslandWood is such a fantastic and special place, and I’m so excited that so many of our friends and family will get to enjoy it with us. Soon it’ll be US in those photos!
Apparently they were able to have their dog at the ceremony—we’re still going with no Cody at our wedding, though.

Oh, I’m having venue envy… and we live nearby and haven’t yet settled on anything for sure! Dangerous!
I was actually thinking about our top candidate last night and realized that the ONE thing missing from it is the natural setting. If it were just surrounded by forest, it’d be my dream site. As it is - keep looking? I’m not sure.
Anyway, gorgeous pictures. I even went and looked at their site, but it’s one of those places where you have to email to get an idea about price, which I’m guessing means that it’s completely out of our budget?

Oh how fun! Isn’t it great to see such wonderful photos of your venue? I could not find very many of the park we went with and i was NERVOUS. All turned out fine of course. I am wishing you so many happy weather thoughts, it’s supposed to get up to 54 today with no rain! So here’s some big hopes that your day will be even warmer and sunnier!
