After we wrapped up photos at the fountain, I couldn’t wait to see how the restaurant set up the space. I really let the reins go here, as we’d been to Timpano multiple times, and the food and ambiance are always perfection.
When we walked in, we were greeted by all of our guests laughing it up and chowing down on hors d’oeuvres, but before the guests got there, it looked like this:
I absolutely loved how they set the reception space up, considering I gave them absolutely no instructions. Simple, cozy, and pretty, exactly what I was hoping for.
At every place setting were the menus I so lovingly (and last minute-ly) crafted. I love how they got all fancy and tucked the menus into triangle folded napkins.

I put together all the flower arrangements with flowers I had leftover from my bouquet making fest! Simple, chic, and inexpensive, thankyouverymuch!
I was so happy with our cake! We went with a simple, white buttercream frosted cheesecake with navy blue beading. We wanted to keep the it simple so as to not detract from the stars of the cake:
Our adorable bird cake topper, which I made. The boy bird is rocking a tie, while the bride bird is sporting a veil and false eyelashes. Sassy little bird.
And my favorite part, the little dog figurines I made out of polymer clay. Spade, Sophie and Scout couldn’t be at the restaurant, but they were there in (miniature) spirit. Gotta love ’em!
Miss a recap? Don’t fret!
