About Me: I’m a native New Yorker who has always been a DIY kind of girl and loves tackling creative projects while getting the most out of a dollar. I’m marrying my college sweetheart and we love frequenting antique stores, exploring together, and playing with kittens. We’re planning a fun, “us” wedding in his hometown—with as many handmade touches as we can pack into a day!

This may be a dumb question, but what makes you a “Bee” instead of just a member?
So excited for your addition to weddingbee! I too am a native New Yorker planning a wedding outside my fiance’s hometown (while we live in NYC). Sometimes I think I’m crazy (but it’s just so much cheaper!!).

Welcome! I am super interested in your posts because I currently live in Nashville, and I feel like planning a wedding here without living here or ever living here to know the culture would be stressful (especially living in such a different place like NYC)! I hope you are handling it okay!
