I was super excited about our wedding day transportation. Mr. Starfish and I went on a Newport Trolley to get to our first date, so it seemed pretty appropriate to get to the first day of the rest of our lives together on the trolley, too!
It was also awesome, because it was big enough to fit our families and entire wedding party. Our church was only five minutes from the hotel, so the trolley took the boys first and then came back for the girls and our families.
We originally planned on getting two sets of transportation. We didn’t want to see each other pre-ceremony, but we were hoping we didn’t have to spend extra on a second mode of transportation, so this worked out perfectly. It was large enough to fit everyone on the way back from the ceremony. Keep this in mind when thinking about transportation.
I also loved how spacious the trolley was. Plus, they let you bring celebratory drinks on the ride. The wedding party liked that a lot.
I was just happy to have a place to kick up my heels. My feet were aching! This was only about 10 minutes in with the notorious heels.
We arrived a bit early, so we got to look out as all the guests arrived.
While we were waiting, the boys were already in the church and tending to their groomsmen’s duties.

The clock was ticking and it was almost time!
