The lovely, wonderful and sweet Miss Tartlet recently wrote a inspiration shoe post that had me drooling on my keyboard. On this post, I saw these lovely Vivienne Westwoods…

Now, this past week I have had the flu, bronchitis, etc. and have therefore been on a slew of interesting drugs. I have looked and felt like this for the past 5 days…

Now, I’m sure you’re thinking, “Miss Waffle, what in the world does being sick and crazy on flu medicine have to do with these lovely shoes?”

Well, hive, it means that I have plenty of time to sit, stare and obsess over those darlings. I even found out they come in blue.

When I made this discovery I freaked. Eeeeee! Aaaaaaaand then I found out there was only one pair left in my size. In my drug induced haze of crazy, I panicked and thought, “There is no time to deliberate this purchase. Must. Buy. NOW!” (Sorry Mr Waffle)

Today, however, with a much clearer head, I am wondering what compelled me to do such a thing. I am normally not an impulse shopper. These would be really great shoes to change into at the end of a long day in my 4″ heels of Love, but should I keep them? I feel like I’m stealing them after the lovely Tartlet found them first. Miss Tartlet, if you want them, I’ll let you have them.

Ugh, what is wrong with me?

Must be the drugs.

I LOVE the wedges with the big hearts and the best is I’ve seen them on sale sites for like under $50. But the plastic would make my feet sweat big time.

I have a pair of the westwoods in the heel version with the bow on top. They are very comfortable for 4” heels! And my feet don’t sweat in them that much.

Oh man, Waffle, I have the flu too :(. I seriously feel like death and a half. I hope you’re feeling better! You deserve a new pair of shoes if you are sick.

Flu and bronchitis here as well! I’m on the bronchitis back end of it now (been sick since early Feb though). Anyway, just wanted to offer sympathy. I not only looked like that but eventually I started climbing the walls because I couldn’t leave the apartment!

ohhh no. I have been looking for blue flats to change into and you may have just ruined me for anything else.

Gerbera has a point though - has anyone actually worn these (particularly to dance for hours)? I do wonder if my feet would get super gross & sweaty…??

@Charcole2011: While I don’t have the flats, I do have the ones with the big hearts that Gerbera mentioned. My feet haven’t gotten super sweaty in them, but I also don’t have very sweaty feet in general. For the flats, I know some very special girls who have them and said that it hasn’t been a problem. But, I’m going to give them nude colored footies just in case.

They’re not as sweaty as you’d think. At least not the few times I’ve tried them on.

Umm…I’m kind of mad at you right now. My colors are light blue and gold, and I’ve been drooling over those shoes in gold, but I figured I would hold out. But now I know they come in my exact colors? Not fair at all :(.

Unfortunately, I DO have sweaty feet. They sweat in everything even in my awesome meshy Pumas. Le Sigh. It’s gross.
