After we were finished with our bridal party photos, we high-tailed it back to Ladder 15 where our guests had started to arrive.

Unfortunately, we didn’t really have a plan to keep me hidden from our guests’ view as I waltzed in the front door, so most of our guests saw me walk in and go up the stairs to wait until the beginning of the ceremony. Oh well, what can you do?

Everyone walked down the aisle to Joshua Radin’s Lovely Tonight:

Grandma and Granddad came first, looking adorable:

After Grandma and Granddad, my in-laws came down the aisle, and then my mother. Unfortunately, Momma Socks must have been bookin’ it down the aisle because I don’t have a picture of her. 

Then came my lovely sister and the rest of our bridal crew:

We’re missing a picture of GM Jay too, but he was there! If you look closely, You’ll see the Cardigans in the right hand corner! Hey Guys!

Then we waited a few seconds (for dramatic effect) before Mr. Socks came down:

Haha his face gets me every time…it’s like he’s challenging our photographer to a walk-off or something.

Then we paused for even greater dramatic effect before Dad Socks and I came down the aisle. I decided to hold my flowers in the hand that was hooked in his arm so that I could pick up my dress while I came down the stairs (and just in case I thought I might trip on a flat surface)…

I remember everyone standing for me as I came down and I just smiled like a crazy person at all of them…overwhelmed by seeing all of these people who were there for us.

One of my all time faves of me and my Daddy.

And we were there!

Dad Socks and I hugged, he shook Mr. Socks’ hand, and miracle of all miracles, our song ended EXACTLY at the right moment. We hadn’t timed it out perfectly at the rehearsal, so it was amazing that it worked out so well when it mattered!
