About Ms. Sloth

So, I had a decision to make.

The long, flowy J. Crew dress, the sassy tea-length BHLDN dress, or both?

I’ll let you in on a secret:

as soon as I tried on that BHLDN dress, I knew I would be wearing it on my wedding day. The real decision was whether or not I’d hold onto the J. Crew and wear it for the ceremony, then change into the BHLDN for the reception. And I’ve decided to return the J. Crew dress and be a one dress bride.

The decision didn’t come easily, but in the end, I realized that it would just be simpler to wear one dress. One dress means one set of alterations. One dress means that I don’t have to worry about getting enough photos of myself wearing each of two dresses. One dress means that I don’t have to spend any time away from the cocktail hour while changing. It means one less dress to worry about. So, one dress it is!

Did you have a tough decision between two dresses? What was the deciding factor?

I searched high and low for a dress under my budget of $500. Just as I was about to give up hope, I found 2 for $250 each at the same boutique. The 2 dress dilemma began!

After switching in and out of both gowns for over an hour the decision was made to purchase only one. Although the other dress was beautiful and fit perfectly, it was a little too low cut in the front for me to feel comfortable. (I’m always worried about where my cleavage is - the girls have a mind of their own.) I still think about it, but know I made the right decision!

PS - your dress is adorable!

So glad you chose this one! The grin on your face in those first pictures said it all. Oddly enough, I wrestled between two dresses (one of them was Fiesole) for some time.

I searched on Bridal magazines and I was able to decide on the type of wedding dress I would wear. Although there were so many dresses, but I knew what I wanted right away. and it worked perfectly for me!

I voted for this dress! I’m also doing a tea length dress. I really love the vintage feel of them.

You look great! I was in between two dresses; cost was the determining factor :-)

I am so happy that you made the best choice for you and you look stunning. Are you going to wear any crinolines underneath?

Yay! It’s beautiful! Great choice!
I was a two-dress bride as well, but when I put on my second dress, I knew that it was the one I would wear at our wedding. It just felt right. Now I’m trying to sell my brand new, unworn first one!
