What are we going to do with it? Heavy D. and the Boyz certainly ask some thought-provoking questions.
Well, hive, this is the last wedding-related post. As people trickled out after saying goodbye, I honestly could not believe that was it. After a year’s worth of planning, our wedding day had come and gone.

We did not do a formal send-off and had to settle a few miscellaneous things with the venue before leaving (e.g., gimme those leftovers so I can eat them in the car). By the time we were ready to leave the venue, I didn’t want to go. They had to shove me into the car (and especially with my poofy dress).
On the car ride back to the hotel, Mr. Lobster and I fell asleep totally exhausted. I woke up bleary eyed in my flip flops and stood in the hotel lobby as Mr. Lobster tried to find a fridge for us to put our wedding cake top in. In those few minutes past 1:00 AM, a stranger with a British accent came stumbling toward me asking, “Did you just get married?”
No, lady. I just like standing around in off-white formal dresses in hotel lobbies.
“Wow. Tell me ALL about it.”
Um…I’d really rather not.
Finally, Mr. Lobster and I went up to our room to seal the deal….Oh, no wait. I mean fall dead asleep in the king size bed. I thought about the day from start to finish:

Finally, I fell asleep and when I woke up the next day, it was our first day as newlyweds.
If you missed part of this lobster tale…
