I have found myself revisiting that Justin Alexander over and over again…even though I already have a dress. If I had a larger budget that would’ve been the one. I didn’t end up being a short dress bride but give props to you ladies who are!

I have the Justin Alexander dress! I tried on some long dresses, and did not like them nearly as much as the tea length one.

I’m torn between the Justin Alexander in the post and the Dolly Couture Milan. I was actually just sitting here admiring my Dolly fabric samples again!

I had no idea there were so many short dress bees! My absolute favorite short dress is Fiesole but the Sarah Seven dress in your photo list is lovely too.

I had 2 short dresses i loved them so much! One was an original 1950’s beautiful lace dress. My second one was a polka dot dress (smilar to Michelle Roth but got it made for a quarter of the price). I highly, highly recommend Dolly couture. She makes all the dresses and can get them customized too!

Here is where i posted pictures of my dresses.

LOVE! I’m wearing a short dress too :) It is similar to Mrs. Sand Dollar’s dress, but with a bit more poof and in red.

I knew I didn’t want a long dress, but I was having a hard time finding a tea-length one I liked. I finally opened my eyes to the idea of finding a “traditional” gown and cutting it down to whatever length suited me.

I go for my first fitting next week, so I hope the seamstress doesn’t gasp and hate me when I tell her to hack off the train and beadwork - but I LOVE the bodice and the style of the dress, plus I made sure to pick one that (when mocked up in MS Paint) still looked good at tea length. No beading out of place, no unbalanced feel to it.

I’ll share once it’s done (before and after).

Michelle Roth’s Maya was the very first dress picture I saved for inspiration, and the one that made me crave tea length!
