A Crafty Escape…

A Crafty Escape… : wedding crafts decor diy los angeles tutorial Diyflag

Whoa. I can’t believe another week has gone by so quickly!

And I don’t know about you guys, but Tuesday’s recap made me want to escape to a light & beautiful crafty world where craptastic wedding vendors don’t exist.

A world strung with mini-pennant flags in pale delicious golden colors. I’ve actually gotten quite a few inquiries about where to buy the (bright) mini-pennant flags I used in our STD’s photo shoot, so I figured I’d show you guys how to make them today. A quick and easy DIY for your Oscar Party and/or wedding.

It’s super easy! The perfect mindless American Idol watching activity (if you do such things!). Ready?

And that’s that.

I guess I should mention that I actually wanted to escape to this world two days ago (and take you all with me) but then my internet starting acting funny… cue extreme panic. Luckily an extremely awesome bee friend worked some techie magic and here I am again!

Thanks Lemon!
Happy weekend everybody!

Any other wedding crafts planned for this weekend?

P.S.  I promise I’m not shirking my recapping responsibilities, but merely didn’t have enough time + internet this week for the extremelyphotoheavy posts that are coming your way Monday! Still friends?

How freakin cute! I might jump on the “Bandwagon” (haha Miss Prairie Dog!) and use this idea for our wedding or shower! I love how you can totally change the mood/feel of these by switching out different colors and patterns of paper or fabric! Great job!

OMGCUTE! Love these! Bunting was the theme of our engagement party, and I made bigger buntings to hang from the marquees, but these little ones make my heart squee!

@Miss Lox: Lol easier than posting, apparently.. :)

Love this. I spent a couple hours the other night cutting 9 inch triangles (140 !!! of them) out of pretty old bedlinen and my back and scissors hand were unimpressed. This I like! Good woman Stripes!
