Allow me to briefly interrupt this broadcast to bring you some of the prettiest little vintage-inspired bridal shoes around. I stumbled across the Rachel Simpson site via this post on My Hands Made It and was hooked. I love my shoes to bits, of course, but when I saw these I just had to write a post on them in case someone else is searching high and low for that perfect pair.
Enough with the words, on with the goods! I picked out a few of my favourites to show you. Here we have “Hettie”:

*sigh* Perfect, right? And this is just a small selection of the range. They aren’t the kindest on your wallet of course, but luckily for some of us the site also has an outlet section with samples and seconds on offer for a fraction of the original prices. Of course, my wedding is over, so I shall have to resign myself to living vicariously through anyone else who manages to snag one of these beauties. Hmm…unless I use my first wedding anniversary to justify a purchase? Too early, perhaps? But indulge me if you will.

I’m wearing a vintage looking pair of chocolate brown patent leather peep toe slingbacks that I found at TJ Maxx for $28! Major score!
I wore vintage-inspired purple suede shoes 
They are similar to “Hettie” but with a low, 1-inch heel. I knew the style I wanted and ended up on zappos.com. They were a great find, $65 for gorgeous, comfortable shoes I can still wear!
These make me wish I could wear heels! Burt when I slip my feet into them, I always remember that I really can’t.
