I mentioned that I would be getting two wedding bands here, and I’m so happy ’cause the jeweler just finished them. I. Am. In. Love! They are stunning, especially when paired with my engagement ring. As soon as I had the rings in my grubby little hands, I took out the camera and started snapping away pictures of my bands along with King Hippo’s. I couldn’t even wait for the sun to come out so that I could have proper lighting, so you’ll have to forgive the flash reflections.
King Hippo selected a simple platinum band with a pretty hefty thickness to it. He liked that the ring had a little bit of weight to it. My micropave eternity bands are super thin and delicate, which matches the band of my engagement ring. I really can’t wait to wear my bands with my ring, and I may or may not have tried them on fourteen or so times since we got them yesterday. OK, OK, I know I have plastered photos of my ring on the ’bee before, but I can’t resist. These are my real rings! Don’t you want to see how it all looks together?

I had a black-tie event for work last night, and I had to work really hard to resist the urge to dress up my outfit with my new rings. Don’t worry… I resisted.
Did you have a hard time waiting to wear your wedding ring?
Those are SO BLING-ILLY WONDERFUL! I’m avoiding buying my ring, because I know that once I have it, I’ll want to put it on all the time.
Yes! However, we shipped them to GA to save NY State taxes so I couldn’t see them in person till days before the wedding!

Wow! So much bling! My bands are much simpler, but I adore pave. If I had to do it all over again, I might do a pave band with sapphires!

Wow - gorgeous together! I can see why you were tempted to wear them out the other night. Lots of wedding things I’m so over, but the wedding band is something I’m still amped about.

@Maya: King Hippo bought my engagement ring at Marisa Perry, and then we went back there for my bands. WE LOVE THEM! The designer, Douglas Elliot, is amazing!
