I got a phone call the other day.

“Hello?”

“I got a big box of toilet paper in the mail.”

“What?”

Suddenly my computer started ringing; someone was trying to video chat with me. I picked up and Mr. Crepe began a five-minute comedy sketch about the rolls of toilet paper he had just received from UPS.

It was a miracle that I was able to snap these screenshots because I couldn’t stop laughing. They’re rolls of gossamer streamers that we’ll be using to decorate with. The smaller rolls are for tying bunches of baby’s breath to the pews. But he’s absolutely right: they do look like toilet paper.

I whine about having to do all this planning long distance, but one of the unexpectedly fun things is that he gets these surprise packages and discovers some of the details that will be making up our wedding day. And he gets so darn excited, bless his heart.
