I’m really looking forward to spoiling my bridesmaids; giving them their gifts is going to be so much fun. (Seriously, I just can’t wait to see them wearing them.)
Just like last time: girls, if you’re reading, please stop now. Peeking makes baby jaguars cry… and you don’t want to spoil the surprise, do you?
If you can remember back, the first part of their gift was a fluffy robe—all different colours so that we can stand out and look fabulous on the morning of the wedding. The weather has only JUST started to cool down from summer to autumn here at the moment, and I know I’ll be tempted to wear mine around before June, but I must hold back! 
The second part of their gift is a more traditional one, as I’m giving them jewellery to wear on the wedding day. Their dresses have a shiny brooch on the front as it is, so I didn’t want to overpower them with bright silver necklaces. I chose to look for something with pearls instead. I was this close to just buying them each a single strand. I was searching for something classic looking, but then I found this listing on Overstock.com: the Pearl ‘River of Snow’ necklace.
It’s part of their Fair Trade system, where they buy and ship directly from jewellery makers in various countries over the world. These particular necklaces were handmade in Thailand, and came in gorgeous recycled paper packaging.
Luckily, what was inside was just as gorgeous!
The necklaces are mainly pearls, with just a hint of sparkle and beadwork thrown in there. They’re quite delicate, and should sit beautifully around the girls’ necks.
I then scoured the internet to find some cute matching earrings. I came up with these babies, from an eBay listing—I think they match pretty well!
So that’s that: the girls’ gifts are done. Mr. Jaguar hasn’t decided what he wants to do for his groomsmen yet, so I’ll have to wait and see what his plans end up turning out like. All I need to do now is to find some cute cards and pop them in a goodie bag, and we’re all set.
