Now, That Looks Married!

March 11th, 2011 @ 1:29 pm by Mrs. Brooch

The title of this post is a direct quote from one of the owners at Laney’s where we bought our wedding bands. I had no idea what I wanted at first, but when we looked at their selection, I found two very dainty bands that looked great with my ring.

Because of our limited budget, we decided we would only buy one of these bands before the wedding. After all, I don’t need two! Once the ring arrived in my size, we picked it up, and I absolutely love it! I wouldn’t mind having the option to wear it alone, but we’re probably going to weld all the rings together in the back so they don’t move around.

Have you picked your wedding band? Do you wear it occasionally even though you’re not married yet? ;)

My fiance has hidden my wedding band, because I was taking it out and wearing it with my engagement ring so often. I love your ring. It looks beautiful.

I love them - they look so beautiful together! I am a huge fan of the super thin bands.

We still live apart, so I’ll be keeping his ring til the wedding and he’ll keep mine (after we buy them, hopefully this weekend!). I’m sure if I had access to mine I would try it on a little too often too.

It is bad luck to wear your wedding band before your get married…… But I do ‘try it on’ with my ring sometimes - just for a minute to ogle over what they look like together :) haha

Shut up, Mr. Giraffe got like really mad after he found me wearing it the night we picked them up. He put a giant foot down and was all, “You can’t wear it until we’re married!”

Can you believe that guy? The nerve!

I want to wear it sooooo bad!

Anyway, love you ring! Sooo pretty!

We bought our wedding bands right before Valentine’s Day even though our wedding isn’t until Sept. 2012. They were having a big sale at the jewelers and we ended up saving over $700! I put my ring in my fiances dresser so I don’t feel tempted to grab it out and wear it.

So I have a confession….I actually have my wedding band in my purse. I’ve had it in there since we picked it up with my updates engagement setting….
I don’t wear it, but I love that I have it with me all the time.

Oooh I think they look great together! I was the same way with mine, always putting them on and “practicing” wearing them all together.

I went and looked at rings this weekend, and I found an engagement ring almost like yours but it had three bands attached to the center stone. With your wedding band, it almost looks the same! What a gorgeous ring!
