Nope, we still haven’t picked out tuxes. Nope, we aren’t sure if the dudes are wearing ties, cravats or bow ties. Nope, the Baconator still hasn’t convinced the guys that they should all don beards in his honor. Nope, we’re not sure how the guys are spending Mr. B’s last day as a single man.

Um, Miss Bacon? What the heck do you know? We know about shoes! The Baconator always says, “I’ve been wearing Chucks since before it was cool…again.” So it was no contest that the Bacon Boys would be donning the famous sneakers on our wedding day. For a while we threw around the idea of some slick wingtips, but once we knew that I wasn’t wearing fancy kicks, there was no reason for him to wear them.

It won’t just the Baconator and groomsmen in these sneaks, but also the ring bearer and the officiant! Mr. B and the ring bearer are going to be wearing red ones, the Best Bacon will be in grey, the groomsmen will be in black and the officiant will be wearing white…because he’s holy? We actually ordered them as gifts for the guys way back before Thanksgiving and have had each of the dudes try them on. To top it off, we’re taking each pair of shoes to be embroidered with the nicknames that the Baconator has made up for all of them like “Dr Love” and “Boy Wonder” and “Special K” and “Mr T.” I’m trying to convince him that his should say “Baconator,” but he’s leaning toward “Awesome” since he’s so humble. (Can you sense the sarcasm? LOL!)

We are so excited to know that the folks standing beside us on our big day are going to be comfortable all day long. Remember this photo from my other shoe post? I can’t wait for one of our own!
