Can you tell a Words With Friends addict is in the house?? Ever since my colleague challenged me to a game early last year, I was hooked.

Growing up, I was never a fan of Scrabble. But Words With Friends makes it so convenient and fun to challenge my friends and play with people from all over the world. It’s my nightly ritual to make a last move on WWF before I hit the sack.

I’ve been thinking of ways to incorporate WWF/Scrabble related themes to the wedding day.

Mr. French Toast doesn’t even touch the game so I don’t want to it be the center of attention, but I wanted to include small touches here and there.

With a week out’ til the wedding, it’s obviously too late for me to do anything wild with the idea, so I thought it’d be fun to make big scrabble tiles and have a bunch of letters for guests to form words with for the photobooth.

I used this tutorial to create individual letters, printed them onto card stock, and adhered it to a foam board. Initially I was ambitious and thought I can make the entire alphabet, but then I realized I would have to print double or triple of certain letters and vowels because my guests will be forming words. In the end, I just stuck with the word we all love so much : L-O-V-E!

Unfortunately I am without a camera at the moment so I don’t have any photos to share with the hive of the letters, but I’ll be sure to update when they’re put into use at the photobooth!

How do you plan on incorporating personal touches into your wedding day without being overbearing?

I’m a scrabble addict too! I actually will be incorporating some Scrabble things in our wedding. Our Save-the-Dates were a picture of our names and wedding date on a scrabble board, we’re having scrabble tile cake toppers, the letters ‘RSVP’ were spelled with scrabble tiles on our paper products, and our Thank You cards are scrabble-themed (you can find some cute ones on Etsy!)

I LOVE WWF! And Scrabble! Thanks for the great inspiration :)

One thing that we did was squeeze in a lot of personality into just a couple of projects. Then it wasn’t everywhere, but it was still making a good appearance!

We are also Scrabble freaks, and Mr. Crown and I sometimes get downright ornery when we get competitive! LOL I love the scrabble cake (groom’s cake?) and cuff link ideas (which I could SO make myself for Mr. Crown).

I heart words with friends so I loved this idea but what i’m loving more is it appears the favors image uses lipgloss tins – Now I have to come up with a way to incorporate lip gloss tins!
