By day I am lucky enough to work with individuals with autism and their families. By night, I’m even luckier to be able to spend time hanging out with awesome friends, crafting, shopping, thinking about exercising, and kicking it with Mr. Magic and our two cats. I tend to have sudden, intense cravings that will not be denied (seafood enchiladas! new jeans!) and I’m prone to being a disorganized mess of anxiety and stress. After waiting (and waiting!) to get engaged, I am finally planning the colorful, fun, fabulously awesome Fall wedding of our dreams. Too Freaking Cute Not to Use!

March 21st, 2011 @ 5:19 pm by Mrs. Magic

As I was perusing Anthropologie, looking for all the things I want to register for, you know, for my Common Decency Be Damned post, I found these:

Too Freaking Cute Not to Use! : wedding chapel hill guestbook Magic11 201x300

Too Freaking Cute Not to Use! : wedding chapel hill guestbook Magic22 201x300

Source

One could use them for a guestbook…or have folks write their well wishes and then have a friend or family member send them throughout the first year of marriage, which is what I think we might do since I already have a guestbook idea. (Calm down, I’ll share it with you soon.)

OR, one could just hang them from a clothesline as decoration. Cute, no?

OR! Use them as table names! For a bride and groom who really likes to read! We really like to read!!!

Man, there are a lot of wedding ideas for these little suckers.

OMG. Invitations! Save the dates! OK, it seriously never ends.

Does anyone else see everyday random things and instantly turn them into wedding merch? Do you love these postcards as much as I do???

I have those! They are great. Interestingly, I don’t have any of the titles pictured up there — mine are not as cute. They are really good for random notes and wall displays though.

I have those, too! I actually took a bunch of the classic book cover ones (I took a few of each color) and framed them with wooden frames from IKEA (that I painted black), and then made 2 rows of them along my hallways as decorations. :D

P.S. They’re cheaper on Amazon (although I don’t know if the postcards inside are the same or different!)

My mum has a box of those! Dad collects Penguins, the classic ones with the banded covers. They’ve got about 2000!

I just died and went back from vintage heaven! Having a theme vintage is cool, but having such as wedding cards is cooler. Thanks! I was so tied btw making my own and buying (which both will cost) but creating/purchasing you’d fall in love with is a whole diff story. And I just did. I’m head over heels with them! thanks for posting

Awesome! As a general rule, Anthropologie inspires me. They had this awesome Alice in Wonderland thing there that would have made a perfect centerpiece but it was over $200. $8,000 on centerpieces? No thank you :(.

Miss Magic I just love your blogging. It is so entertaining and what a great way for the MOB to know what great idea’s my daughter has for her wedding. Love you Katie Boo!

We got these for our wedding too! Our venue is a bookstore and we are using these for thank-you cards! Plus post cards are not as much postage as regular cards with envelopes.
