Bachelorette parties are the most fun EVER!
There comes a time during your engagement when you have to stop planning, obsessing, and stressing, and just have a fab night with your girls! This is absolutely necessary, too! Especially if you’re nutty like me and have lived and breathed weddings for more than a year and a half.
I want to warn you, though, that around this same time, you’re going to find you’re surrounded by some of the most amazing, loving, beautiful people in the world and you’re going to find yourself at a loss for words. Saying thank you is not enough…
Take for instance when your girlfriends rent a hotel suite, decorate the whole room, cook lasagna (and have salad ’cause they know you’re dieting), set up a bar, provide custom-made party cups and tiaras for all of your bridal party, spoil you rotten with a *special* tiara, sash, and BUTTERFLY wand, and take you out on the town for a night of VIP clubbin’!
Um… hello? How are you to return THAT type of favor?
The hosts were the two women in you see in these pictures: my FSIL, Amber and my MOH, Michelle. Together, they decked out the room, played bartender and MC, and coordinated bottle service at one of the area’s finest clubs! Love you girls!
Also in on the action were my two FAVORITE (shhhh!) co-workers. These are my gym rats and the ONLY reason I have a waistline! They have dragged me to work out almost EVERY DAY in this past year to get ready for this wedding! Nobody was counting calories tonight, though! It was all fun and no stress, no pressure, and no wedding talk. I LOVED it!
The night started off sorta calm in the hotel room with drinking games like “Never Have I Ever,” and eventually led to discussions of orgasms, bras with built-in nipples (cue the picture below), and one of the catch phrases of night: “penis, penis, penis…yum, yum!” BAHAHA—that’s not too raunchy for you all, right? It was all good wholesome fun!
In attendance were also quite a few of my high school buds! I feel so lucky to still be in touch with—and be close to—girls that I hung out with more than 7 years ago. Wow! That’s a long time, right?!

Enjoyed our bottle service…
Sipped on champagne (once we finally got it open)…
Danced and sang…
Sang a lot…
And, well, drank a lot, too!
It was a great night!

Being from Northern Virginia myself, may I ask where you ended up going?? I’m pretty certain I’ve been to the bar with the fireworks champagne display, but I can’t remember the name! Looks like you had a great time!
@Molly: Hey Molly! We ended up going to OZIO. We were going to go to this place called The Reserve, but changed our minds at the last minute. We could have honestly gone ANYWHERE though, with all the girls in tow, I would have had fun regardless!

Of course, my focus was on all of the tiaras…lovin’ the ROYALTY of it all. And that dress looked awesome on you. You girls looked like you know how to party!

I’m so glad you had such a fabulous time! It’s SO necessary, as we get closer to the big day! Time to let loose, and let the stress fall on my shoulders - NOT yours!
